More than 20 companies including WeWork India, Zypp Electric, Farmley, Pine Labs, 91 Springboard and PhysicsWallah have partnered with Astrotalk to integrate astrology sessions into their employee engagement programmes. Under the partnership, Astrotalk offers free face-to-face consultations with professional astrologers, complimentary goodies for participating employees and exclusive app offers. Companies are positioning these sessions as guided reflection and self-discovery exercises designed to help employees navigate both personal and professional challenges.
The initiative reflects a shift in corporate engagement trends as participation in conventional perks such as gym memberships, off-sites and “Fun Fridays” declines. Organisations are increasingly exploring alternative formats that encourage reflection, mindfulness and personal growth.
In recent years, HR teams have faced growing pressure to design programmes that employees find relevant and meaningful. Several companies have adopted astrology sessions as exercises in self-awareness rather than matters of belief, aiming to help employees reflect on their professional and personal challenges in a constructive way.
Astrotalk’s corporate programems have recorded strong participation, with registrations often filling within minutes. Attendance levels have surpassed those of traditional engagement activities. HR leaders report that employees view these sessions as lighter than formal workshops but more purposeful than social gatherings, creating a balanced and engaging format. Some organisations have also noted improvements in communication and team dynamics following the sessions.
“Rather than offering short-term perks, companies are investing in experiences that promote self-understanding and emotional awareness. People feel like they actually matter, and that changes everything,” said Puneet Gupta, Founder and CEO, Astrotalk. He also highlighted that the shift in corporate engagement reflects a larger change in how organisations approach employee well-being.
HR teams echo this sentiment, noting that astrology-led sessions have been particularly effective in sparking meaningful conversations and building empathy across teams.
"Employee well-being today is not just about perks; it’s about creating experiences that help them reflect, understand themselves and engage meaningfully with their teams. Astrology-led initiatives have been a surprisingly simple way to do this. They get people talking, reflecting and connecting in ways regular activities just don’t,” said Pawneet Kaur, Head of HR - People & Culture, Zypp. |
