EPL Limited has announced that Anand Kripalu will retire as Global Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director on December 31, 2025. The Board has approved his appointment as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director from April 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval.
Hemant Bakshi will take charge as Chief Executive Officer from October 13, 2025, and assume the role of Global CEO and Managing Director on January 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
Kripalu, who has over three decades of leadership experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, previously served as CEO and Managing Director of Diageo India and was part of its Global Executive Committee. His career also includes senior roles at Mondelez International and Unilever, where he held leadership positions across India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.
Bakshi brings more than 30 years of experience with Unilever, having served as CEO and later Non-Executive Chairman of Unilever Indonesia. He led business transformation, digital growth, and diversity initiatives during his tenure. More recently, he founded GroNext Technologies, a Unilever-funded venture aimed at digitising traditional retail. Bakshi is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai and IIM Ahmedabad. |
