ബേത്തൂർപാറ （കാസർകോട്） ∙ കാർ ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷയ്ക്ക് പിന്നിലിടിച്ച് ഓട്ടോയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഓട്ടോഡ്രൈവർ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു. പള്ളഞ്ചിയിലെ അനീഷാണ് （43） മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്നലെ വൈകിട്ടോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ബേത്തൂർപാറയിൽ നിന്ന് പള്ളഞ്ചിയിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന ഓട്ടോയ്ക്ക് പിറകിലാണ് നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട കാർ ഇടിച്ചത്. മൂന്ന് വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റിരുന്നു. ബേത്തൂർ പാറ ഗവ. ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളിലെ പ്ലസ് വൺ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കായിരുന്നു പരുക്കേറ്റത്. അപകടം നടന്ന ഉടൻ പള്ളഞ്ചിയിലെത്തിയ അനീഷ് ആളൊഴിഞ്ഞ പ്രദേശത്ത് വച്ച് ആസിഡ് കുടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. നാട്ടുകാർ അനീഷിനെ ആദ്യം കാസർകോട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലും. പിന്നീട് മംഗലാപുരത്തേക്കും മാറ്റിയെങ്കിലും മരിച്ചു.
