Hilton has announced the opening of its 9,000th hotel globally, a milestone achieved with the debut of Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in Texas. The landmark moment underscores Hilton’s accelerated growth trajectory, with nearly three hotels opening each day since crossing the 8,000 mark just a year ago.

The milestone property, Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, brings Hilton’s luxury brand into its fast-growing Texas portfolio. The conversion features 496 guest rooms, including 34 boutique-style villas and an exclusive adults-only floor, all designed with refined, regionally inspired décor to reflect the spirit of the Texas Hill Country. The resort also offers expansive dining, wellness and leisure experiences set against the natural beauty of San Antonio.
Hilton’s latest achievement comes on the back of several recent global development milestones. The company now operates more than 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels worldwide, having signed over 200 new properties in this segment in 2025 alone. Hilton has also surpassed 1,000 operating properties across both the Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, while continuing to strengthen its presence in the Americas with over 6,000 trading hotels in the United States, 200 in Canada, 500 in Florida and 100 in Italy.
Looking ahead, Hilton has set ambitious growth targets, including expanding its footprint tenfold in India, tripling its African presence, quadrupling its portfolio in Saudi Arabia, and exceeding 250 luxury and lifestyle properties in Asia Pacific. With more than 3,600 hotels currently under development, the company continues to see strong demand from owners for its award-winning brands that drive sustainable commercial performance.
