Just had to create a thread about this new slot I've been obsessed with: Galactic Gems from PG/Playtech (or whoever the provider is). This game has an awesome theme and some seriously explosive features!
The backstory is really cool. It's all about a mysterious planet called "Hazel," which is packed with unique, priceless gems. The catch? These gems are locked inside nearly indestructible meteorites. For years, travellers couldn't crack them open... until now. The only ones who can do it are the descendants of Abiya, the so-called "Travelling Prospectors," who have a special kind of explosive.
Now, onto the actual slot mechanics. It's a 5x5 grid, and the visuals are stunning—really cosmic and shiny.
The main events are the Respins and the Bonus Respins.
The goal is to break the "blockers" on the grid (those unbreakable meteorites). You do this by landing wins, and each win helps destroy a piece of the meteorite.
But the real magic happens when you destroy all the blockers. This triggers the BONUS RESPIN FEATURE!
Here's the breakdown of the Bonus Feature:
You start with 1 Extra Life and an x1 Multiplier.
The real game-changer is that collecting 15 winning symbols grants you +1 Extra Life.
The respins continue until you have no lives left.
This means if you can chain together wins and keep collecting those 15-symbol batches, you can extend your bonus round significantly, all while the multiplier (hopefully) climbs!
It's a fantastic mix of anticipation and strategy. The feeling when you finally break all the blockers and the Bonus Respins kick in is just epic.
