Vikran Engineering on Tuesday announced that it has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire a 49 per cent equity stake in NOPL Solar Projects for Rs 4.9 crore, marking its strategic entry into the renewable energy space.
Expands Presence In Solar Under PM-KUSUM
NOPL Solar Projects is engaged in the development, operation and maintenance of solar assets and is associated with a 969 MW grid-connected project under the PM-KUSUM scheme in Maharashtra. The acquisition aligns with Vikran Engineering’s strategy to diversify beyond its core engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business and establish a foothold in high-growth renewable energy segments.
The company said the investment will strengthen its participation in India’s clean energy transition and solar infrastructure buildout. The move follows the company’s execution of solar power projects in FY26 and is expected to enhance its presence across the renewable energy value chain, while building capabilities in delivering next-generation infrastructure solutions. |
