Club Med has signed a Hotel Management Agreement with Central Group Capital for a new resort in Koh Samui, marking the brand’s continued expansion in Asia Pacific.
The project will introduce a new Club Med Exclusive Collection Resort, the third in the East and South Asia and Pacific region. It will also be Club Med’s first Exclusive Collection Resort in Thailand and its second property in the country after Club Med Phuket, which opened in 1985.
Located around 25 minutes from Koh Samui Airport, the 303-room beachfront resort is expected to open in the second half of 2028. The development will feature more than 200 metres of private beachfront and offer sports, leisure and family-focused experiences.
The redevelopment plan includes expanded room inventory, upgraded guestrooms and public spaces, new dining concepts, Kids Club facilities and the Amazing Family programme.
