The latest trigger came after she appeared in an Abu Dhabi tourism advertisement alongside her husband Ranveer Singh, where she was seen wearing a traditional abaya and headscarf (hijab).
While right-wing groups criticized her for allegedly contradicting her modern and feminist image, Prabhas’s fans seized the opportunity to join the trolling spree.
They accused her of being disrespectful and unprofessional, linking her appearance in the ad to the controversies surrounding her Tollywood commitments.
