The game of Kabaddi is a traditional sport in many South Asian countries and has gained global recognition. Understanding the basic rules and regulations is essential for players and spectators alike.

Field Dimensions: Kabaddi is played on a rectangular field with a boundary line known as the touch line. The width and length can vary, but a standard field measures 30 meters in width and 60 meters in length.

Number of Players: There are two teams in Kabaddi, each consisting of seven players. These teams take turns sending \“raiders\“ over to the opponent\“s half of the field.

Raiding: A raider attempts to enter the opponent\“s half and touch players without being tagged back. The raider must call \“kabaddi\“ continuously while crossing the line. If a raider is tagged or the word \“kabaddi\“ is stopped, he must return immediately without touching the ground on the opponent\“s side.

Scoring: A successful raid is worth one point for the attacking team. If a raider is not tagged back, the raid counts as a \“super raid\“ and is worth two points.

Defending: The defending team must try to tag the raiders or prevent them from touching their players. If the raider is tagged or the \“kabaddi\“ word is stopped, a \“defensive bonus\“ point is given to the defending team.

Time Limit: A standard match of Kabaddi lasts for 30 minutes, divided into two halves of 15 minutes each, with a halftime break.
