Sree Vishnu’s upcoming action-comedy being directed by Janakiram Marella, and produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP, is in the middle of the production.
The film presented by Kona Venkat is titled powerfully Comrade Kalyan, and the same was disclosed through an intense promo.
Set in 1992 in Madugula, the promo begins with a radio voice speaks of the government’s crackdown, while the police and Greyhounds intensify their hunt for a rebel leader named Comrade Kalyan.
In a quirky twist, the notorious naxallite is seen pasting his own Wanted poster carrying a reward of 5 lakhs.
Sree Vishnu appears in dual avatars, whereas his rugged look as Comrade Kalyan particularly striking. Mahima Nambiar is the female lead.
With Sai Sriram’s striking visuals and Vijay Bulganin’s lively score, the promo makes a positive impression.
However, it is learnt that the movie will feature a unique love story set on the Andhra–Odisha border, with elements of humour and action woven in. |
