Baccarat is a popular card game played in casinos worldwide. The game involves comparing cards between two hands: the Player and the Banker. Each baccarat round has three possible outcomes: Player wins, Banker wins, or Tie.
To start playing baccarat, players place bets on either the Player hand, Banker hand, or Tie before cards are dealt. Two cards are dealt to both Player and Banker positions. The hand value is determined by adding card values together, but only the last digit of the total counts. For example, a hand with 7 and 8 totals 15, but its baccarat value is 5. 
Card values in baccarat are simple: Aces count as 1, cards 2-9 are worth their face value, and 10s and face cards （Jack, Queen, King） count as 0. The highest possible hand value is 9. If either hand totals 8 or 9 naturally, it\“s called a natural and no more cards are drawn.
The third card rules determine whether additional cards are drawn. If Player\“s hand totals 0-5, they draw a third card. If Player stands with 6 or 7, Banker draws on 0-5 and stands on 6 or 7. The Banker\“s decision to draw depends on Player\“s third card value when applicable.
Winning bets on Player pay 1:1, Banker bets pay 0.95:1 （due to 5% commission）, and Tie bets typically pay 8:1 or 9:1. The game continues with new rounds, and players can use various betting strategies while remembering that baccarat is primarily a game of chance. |
