Seventeen years after opening its doors, Atlantis, The Palm has unveiled the Lost World Aquarium — Dubai’s only marine-themed entertainment destination. Opening on October 27, 2025, the attraction blends animal habitats, immersive storytelling, live mermaid shows, and interactive education to offer guests of all ages a truly multi-sensory ocean experience.
The transformation features over 1,900 LED panels, 55 projectors, and 140 speakers, creating 14 interactive themed rooms that combine cinematic visuals with projection mapping and soundscapes. Guests can also enhance their visit with the Interactive Trident, unlocking over 20 hidden features and effects.
The aquarium introduces 19 new habitats and 430 marine creatures across 35 species, including the Striated Frogfish and Giant Pacific Octopus. A new live performance, Return of the Trident, brings mermaids to life in the Ambassador Lagoon.
