LG Electronics India unveils its 2026 home appliances line-up, strengthening both its affordable-premium Essential Series and its premium portfolio. The expansion underscores LG’s commitment to ‘Har Ghar Appliances, Har Ghar Happiness’ while reinforcing its Make-in-India and Make-India-Global vision.
Essential Series: Affordable-premium Expansion
Introduced in October 2025, the Essential Series has been broadened to include new capacities, designs and price points.
- Refrigerators: Sub-300L models now include 225L, 251L and 276L capacities. Powered by Smart Inverter Compressor Technology, they feature Convertible with Dairy Mode, Turbo Fresh Zone, and Auto Smart Connect for inverter compatibility. Finishes range from Shiny Steel and Onyx Black to Wine Glory and Emerald Lotus.
- Washing Machines: Top-load models in 8kg–10kg capacities offer Low Pressure Fill, Intelligent Auto Restart, Eco Wash, Saree Course and Turbo Spin. The new AX semi-automatic series (8kg to 12kg) introduces Dual Spin Shower, Roller Jet Pulsator and Ultra Scrub Wall, with 15 SKUs available.
- Cooking Appliances: The 28L Convertible Convection Microwave Oven integrates microwave, convection and air fry functions, with Charcoal Lighting Heater™ and over 330 auto cook menus, including 28 Indian bread options.
Premium Portfolio: Advanced Lifestyle Solutions
LG has simultaneously expanded its premium range to cater to aspirational households.
- French Door Refrigerators: India’s first French Door Refrigerator with Auto Ice Maker in the 33-inch width segment debuts, offering 574L to 610L capacities. Features include InstaView Door-in-Door, Fresh Converter+, Hygiene Fresh+, Smart Learner adaptive cooling, and AI ThinQ WiFi connectivity. Prices start at Rs 1.18 lakh.
- Side-by-Side Refrigerators: Capacities now extend up to 790L, with finishes such as Black Mirror Glass and Natural Beige.
- Laundry Solutions:
- Front-load: NT, VX and GVX series (over 12kg) powered by AI DD 2.0, EZ Dispense, Steam+, Pet Care and Microplastic Care cycles.
- Top-load: TX series (10kg to 11kg) with Hard Water Wash, Stain Clean, Turbo Spin and corrosion-resistant stainless steel pulsator.
- Dishwashers: The 15 Place Setting LG True Steam Dishwasher accommodates up to 92 Indian utensils, using QuadWash and TrueSteam for hygienic cleaning of heavy oil and masala residues.
- Water Purifiers: New models feature stainless steel tanks, UV sterilisation, alkaline balanced water (7+ pH) and High Recovery Membrane technology with up to 60 per cent water recovery.
Strategic Vision: Make-India-Global
Exports of the Essential Series began in Q1 2026, with a target of reaching 22 countries across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Products include refrigerators, washing machines and residential air conditioners.
