പൂക്കോട്ടുംപാടം （മലപ്പുറം） ∙ ഉല്ലാസയാത്രയ്ക്കിടെ ഭക്ഷണം ശ്വാസകോശത്തിൽ കുടുങ്ങി പുതിയക്കോട് ഊട്ടുപുറത്ത് ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെയും പരേതയായ സുശീലയുടെയും മകൻ ശിവപ്രസാദ് （34） മരിച്ചു. ഊട്ടിയിൽ 14നു രാത്രിയാണു സംഭവം. ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചശേഷം മുറിയിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കവേ ശിവപ്രസാദ് ഛർദിച്ചു. പിന്നാലെ ഭക്ഷണം തൊണ്ടയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി ശ്വാസതടസ്സം ഉണ്ടായി. ഉടനെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരിച്ചു. പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടം നടത്തി.സംസ്കാരം ഇന്ന് 11ന്.
