In Diablo 4, you can gamble for Ancestral items once you reach World Tier 4: Torment difficulty. This becomes available after completing the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon in World Tier 3. Ancestral items are the highest tier of equipment and can only be obtained in World Tier 4 through various activities including gambling with the Purveyor of Curiosities. 
Gambling for Ancestral items requires Obducite, a special currency obtained in World Tier 4. The Purveyor of Curiosities offers random items in exchange for this currency, with chances to receive Ancestral quality gear. While gambling doesn\“t guarantee Ancestral items, it provides additional opportunities to acquire this powerful equipment alongside other World Tier 4 activities like nightmare dungeons and world events. |
