The Hero Indian Super League 2020-21 season featured 11 teams competing in India\“s premier football competition. The teams represented various cities and regions across the country, showcasing local talent alongside international players.
ATK Mohun Bagan, based in Kolkata, emerged as one of the strongest teams, combining the legacy of two historic clubs. Mumbai City FC, backed by City Football Group, brought global expertise to the local league. Other prominent teams included Bengaluru FC, known for their passionate fan base, and Chennaiyin FC, the two-time champions.
The league also featured teams from Goa, including FC Goa and newcomers SC East Bengal. Kerala Blasters continued to draw massive support from their loyal fans in Kochi. Hyderabad FC, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC, and Odisha FC completed the roster, each representing their respective regions with distinct playing styles and local flavor.
