Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday announced that his constituency, Kuppam, is set to receive fresh investments worth Rs 6,339 crore from eight companies, a move expected to generate around 43,000 jobs in the region.
The announcement came shortly after Naidu virtually laid the foundation stone for seven industrial projects with a combined investment of Rs 2,203 crore from his camp office in Undavalli, Guntur district.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, the new projects are being established by companies including Hindalco, Srija Dairy, AS International, SVF Soya, Mother Dairy, E-Royce EV, and ALEAP Women’s Park. The state government has allotted 241 acres of land for these ventures, which span sectors such as dairy, food processing, cooking oil, electric vehicles, laptops, and mobile accessories.
Naidu said the upcoming industrial investments mark a major step toward transforming Kuppam into a hub for innovation and employment. “Soon, Kuppam constituency will receive another Rs 6,339 crore worth of investments from eight companies,” he said, highlighting the government’s focus on balanced regional growth.
The Chief Minister also outlined plans to establish a space city, drone city, and aerospace city in the Rayalaseema region, describing them as part of the government’s broader push to attract high-tech industries. |
