Bihar assembly election 2025: Less than a week is left for the crucial first phase of two-phase Bihar election 2025. The last day of campaigning would be Nov 4, two before the first polling day on Nov 6. Though the parties and leaders have been addressing rallies for quite some time, the momentum has increased after the Chhath festival, with leaders like PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, LoP Rahul Gandhi, and opposition’s CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav addressing 4-4 rallies in a day.
The reason, so much is at stake. The ruling NDA eyes Bihar to prove its policies and narrative are with the people, and the opposition is banking on 20-year-rule of Nitish Kumar, the crimes, corruption and an opportunity. Players like Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj and Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM could play critical roles in the formation of the government in Bihar after Nov 14.

Meanwhile, the BJP has filed an official complaint with theElection Commission of India (ECI) against Rahul Gandhi over his “insulting” remarks.
