Baccarat is a popular card game often played in casinos. The game is simple and involves comparing cards between two hands: the Player and the Banker.
To start, players place bets on either the Player hand, the Banker hand, or a Tie. Each hand receives two cards. The goal is to have a hand total closest to 9. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value, Aces are worth 1, and 10s and face cards are worth 0.
If the total of the hand exceeds 9, only the last digit is considered. For example, a hand with 7 and 5 totals 12, but is worth 2 points. Depending on the initial totals, a third card may be drawn based on specific rules. The hand with the total closest to 9 wins. |
