Baccarat is a popular card game often played in casinos. The game involves comparing cards between two hands: the “Player“ and the “Banker“. The objective is to bet on which hand will have a total value closest to 9.
Each card in Baccarat has a point value. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. Aces are worth 1 point, and 10s and face cards （King, Queen, Jack） are worth 0 points. If the total value of a hand exceeds 9, only the last digit of the total is considered. For example, a hand with a 7 and an 8 totals 15, but its value in Baccarat is 5. 
At the start of the game, two cards are dealt to both the Player and the Banker. Based on the total points of the initial two cards, a third card may be drawn for either hand according to fixed rules. The Player hand acts first. If the Player\“s total is 0-5, they draw a third card. If the total is 6 or 7, they stand. The Banker\“s action depends on the Player\“s action and the Banker\“s own total.
After all cards are dealt, the hand with a total closest to 9 wins. Bets placed on that hand are paid out. If both hands have the same total, it is a tie, and bets on the tie win. |
