Texas Hold\“em is the most popular poker variant worldwide. Each player receives two private cards, and five community cards are dealt face-up on the table. Players use any combination of their two private cards and the five community cards to make the best five-card hand.

The game consists of four betting rounds: pre-flop, flop, turn, and river. During pre-flop, players bet after receiving their private cards. The flop reveals three community cards, followed by another betting round. The turn adds a fourth community card, and the river adds the fifth and final community card, each with corresponding betting rounds.

Blinds are forced bets that initiate the betting. The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind, and the next player posts the big blind. Betting options include check, bet, call, raise, or fold. A player checks to pass the action without betting, bets to wager chips, calls to match a bet, raises to increase the bet, or folds to discard their hand and exit the round.

Hand rankings determine the winner. From highest to lowest: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, and High Card. The player with the best hand wins the pot. If multiple players have the same hand, the pot is split. |
