Baccarat drawing rules determine when the Player and Banker hands receive a third card. These rules are automatic and followed strictly by the dealer.
For the Player hand: If the Player\“s initial two-card total is 0-5, they draw a third card. If the total is 6 or 7, they stand. A natural 8 or 9 (a two-card total of 8 or 9) wins immediately unless the other hand has a higher natural.
For the Banker hand: The Banker\“s action depends on their own total and the value of the Player\“s third card (if drawn). The Banker always stands on a total of 7. The rules are more complex and are best summarized in a standard baccarat rule chart. |
