Just had to jump on and share my thoughts on a new slot I've been playing called "Grimms' Bounty: Hansel & Gretel." If you're a fan of themed slots with a cool mechanic, you might want to check this one out.
It's not your typical fairy tale slot. The story is actually a cool sequel to the classic:
Years after their original escape, Hansel and Gretel are back! The wicked witch Muriel has returned and cursed Candy Village, trapping everyone in darkness. Because of their past encounter, the siblings are immune to her magic, and it's up to them to journey through a dark forest, break cursed runes, and gather power to take her down.
The game itself is a 3-reel, 5-row video slot with a focus on increasing multipliers and respins.
The main event is the Free Spins Feature. You trigger it by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols, which gets you 8 Free Spins to start.
Here's where it gets really interesting:
Collecting Low-Payers: If you collect 4 of the low-paying winning symbols during the free spins, it awards you +1 Extra Respin. This helps keep the round going longer.
Collecting High-Payers: This is the big one. Collect 4 of the high-paying winning symbols, and it DOUBLES the multiplier (x2). This can obviously stack up and lead to some massive wins!
I've found the gameplay to be really engaging. The "collect" mechanic gives you something to actively root for beyond just lining up paylines. It really feels like you're gathering magical energy alongside the siblings.
