Apple and CleanMax have entered into a co-investment partnership focused on expanding renewable energy deployment for India’s commercial and industrial sector, with the investment estimated at around Rs 100 crore. The collaboration is aimed at supporting decarbonisation efforts and increasing access to renewable energy infrastructure for corporate operations in the country.
The partnership involves Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited, a renewable energy solutions provider focused on the commercial and industrial segment. The latest agreement builds on an earlier partnership between the two companies linked to Apple’s India operations.
Kuldeep Jain, Managing Director and Founder of CleanMax, said, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Apple yet again. At CleanMax, we see ourselves as a long-term net-zero partner to corporates, and we are proud to continue working with a company like Apple that continues to push the ecosystem to think bigger, move faster, and build more responsibly.”
Corporate Renewable Energy Partnerships Gain Momentum
The development comes amid growing demand for renewable energy adoption among corporates seeking to reduce emissions and secure long-term clean power supply. Industry observers said co-investment models are increasingly being used to support renewable energy expansion in the commercial and industrial segment.
The partnership also reflects rising corporate interest in low-carbon infrastructure and clean energy procurement in India. Analysts noted that India continues to emerge as a major market for renewable energy deployment, particularly as companies accelerate sustainability targets and energy transition strategies.
