JD Chakravarthy, in one of his recent interviews, spoke about an incident from the past.
He said that a heroine he was working with was staying in a guest house and called him and Suresh, another hero of that time during dinner.
He mentioned, “It was me and my friend Actor Suresh went to her place. At around 8:30 PM, someone knocked at the door. We thought it was food. But the actress looked through a glass that was visible from outside. It was a big producer. Seeing him, she asked both of us to go under the cot. We did not know why, but we did.
The old producer came in. He was of the heroine’s grandfather’s age. Initially, both of us under the cot were amused by the scene. But after he left, we were in tears though she was laughing.
The way he spoke to her was vulgar, and the way he treated her overall was pitiful. The actress also said to us, ‘What to do, he is a big producer. That is why I am still handling this stinking old man, saying something and avoiding him.’”
