Hey everyone, Just had a session with the new release "Spirited Wonders" from what I assume is a new provider, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed! The theme is absolutely stunning. It's based on Japanese folklore, specifically about the Jinguji family, who are powerful Onmyoji (oracles). They use this magical scroll called the "God's Hand" to seal yokai (spirits). The story goes that during the Obon festival, the scroll gets stolen, and the heir, Ryo, has to use his pipe fox and lantern spirit to get it back before the yokai cause a disaster. Such a cool setup for a slot! The Base Game & Layout:
The first thing you'll notice is the unique reel setup. It's a 6-reel, 4-row grid, but get this – reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 have an extra row each! This creates a really dynamic playing field right from the start. It uses Mystery Symbols (probably the scrolls or yokai symbols) and a win multiplier that can build up. The Free Spins Feature (The Main Event!):
This is where the real action is. You need to land 3 Scatter symbols to trigger 10 free spins. The description says "during the Free Spins Feature, the win multiplier will be increased up to x15!" I'm not sure yet if it's a random multiplier on each spin or if it builds with wins, but a potential x15 is nothing to sneeze at, especially on that expanded grid. The visuals are top-notch—very atmospheric with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. The sound design is also really immersive, making you feel like you're in the middle of that festival.
