u1. The 100 meter race is conducted on a straight track, with clearly marked starting lines and finishing lines.

h2. Starting and Taking Off

u2. The signal to start is given when the starter holds up a white card, indicating all athletes are set.
u3. On the command \“set,\“ the runners are to adopt their starting position and be still.
u4. When the starter lowers the white card, signaling the runners to \“go,\“ they must take off from the starting block.

u1. Athletes are expected to run with the technique that provides the most forward motion for the longest distance.
u2. Pushing or tripping opponents is forbidden.
u3. If an athlete steps on or over the track border, it may result in disqualification.

u1. The finish line must be crossed in the correct manner, without stepping out of bounds.
