Nagaland election results are being closely watched across India as the state concludes its assembly elections. The counting of votes began at 8 AM across all counting centers in the state.
According to latest updates from the Election Commission of India, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party （NDPP） and Bharatiya Janata Party （BJP） alliance is leading in majority of constituencies. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is maintaining a strong lead from his Northern Angami-II constituency. 
Voter turnout in Nagaland was recorded at 85% during the assembly elections held on February 27. This high participation reflects the political awareness among Nagaland citizens about state governance and development issues.
Political analysts are monitoring key constituencies including Kohima, Dimapur, and Mokokchung where close contests are expected. The Naga People\“s Front （NPF） is also putting up a strong fight in several traditional strongholds.
Final results from all 60 assembly constituencies are expected to be declared by evening. Security has been tightened across Nagaland to ensure peaceful declaration of results and maintain law and order situation. |
