Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal may have stirred controversies, but its blockbuster success left fans hungry for a sequel. That sequel, Animal Park, just got a major update from Ranbir Kapoor himself.
On his 43rd birthday, Ranbir went live on Instagram, sharing moments with wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha, and dropped news about the much-awaited film.
“Animal Park should start in 2027. Sandeep has been talking to me about the idea, the music, the characters — it’s just crazy. I can’t wait to be on set,” Ranbir said.
He added that discussions are already underway on technical aspects like music and character design, promising that the sequel will be “bigger, bolder, and more engaging” than Animal.
Until then, Ranbir has a busy line-up. He is set to play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, opposite Yash as Raavan and Sai Pallavi as Sita.
He will also reunite with Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Vicky Kaushal. |
