Vishnu Vishal, who shot to fame with the critically acclaimed Ratsasan, which was later remade in Telugu as the blockbuster Rakshasudu, is back with another intense crime thriller after a brief hiatus.
Produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz in association with Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh, the film is directed by Praveen K and is set for release on October 31st.
Today, the makers unveiled a teaser that offers a glimpse into the film’s gripping plot and introduces its key characters.
The story revolves around a chilling new kind of serial killer, who breaks all psychological norms. He announces a name publicly, and exactly one hour later, that person is murdered. It’s a ritual, a twisted outlet for his frustrations, and his pursuit of a fleeting moment of fame. Standing between him and his next victim is a determined cop.
Vishnu Vishal portrays the cop with intensity, balancing machismo with nuanced emotional depth. The teaser also introduces pivotal roles played by Shraddha Srinath and Maanasa Choudhary.
Director Praveen presents a unique take on the crime thriller genre, building tension from the very first frame and sustaining it until the teaser’s gripping end, leaving viewers eager to learn more about the killer.
Cinematographer Harish Kannan enhances the suspense with striking visuals, while Ghibran, who also scored for Ratsasan, returns with a powerful background score that heightens the film’s tension. The production values are top-notch, complementing the story’s dark and thrilling tone.
Overall, the teaser successfully builds intrigue and sets high expectations for Vishnu Vishal’s return to the thriller space.
