Snitch has released a new ad film for Men’s Day that focuses on a commonly observed social behaviour: men often do not receive compliments, even when people acknowledge their efforts. The campaign, titled Just Say It, aims to bring attention to how appreciation for men frequently goes unspoken.
The film begins with a young man stepping out dressed in Snitch clothing. Throughout the day, people notice him, a neighbour pausing mid-scroll, an office-goer offering a polite nod, and two girls in an elevator exchanging a look of appreciation. While admiration is evident, the reactions remain unvoiced, reflecting the hesitation many have when it comes to complimenting men.
Through these brief interactions, the campaign highlights the gap between noticing someone’s effort and openly expressing it. The narrative encourages viewers to break this pattern and articulate positive thoughts instead of holding them back.
Chetan Siyal, Chief Marketing Officer, Snitch, said, “Men’s Day felt like the right moment to address something we all see but rarely talk about. Men put in the effort in how they dress, how they show up, yet appreciation for them is often muted. With ‘Just Say It,’ we wanted to encourage people to speak the positive things they already feel. Compliments are small, but they make a real difference.”
The film concludes with the message Just Say It, underscoring the idea that expressing simple, honest compliments can influence everyday interactions and challenge familiar social norms. |
