CISF detains a man with a knife attempting to attack two cab drivers

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detained a man with a knife near Bengaluru airport.
The accused was identified as Sohail Ahmed, who was observed running towards two taxi drivers- Jagdish JR and Renu Kumar,  along with a long metal knife with the intention to attack them near Arrival Lane of Terminal-1.  
CISF personnel ASI Sunil Kumar along with two others deployed at arrival lane immediately intervened and overpowered the attacker, and safely recovered the knife from his possession. The officials added that both accused and victims are known to each other and work as taxi drivers.
The accused stated that he was allegedly beaten by Jagdesh JR along with two other drivers, Renu Kumar and Gangadhar Angadi. Due to this earlier confrontation, Sohail Ahmed attempted to attack on Jagdesh JR and Renu Kumar. The accused along with the recovered knife, and the victims were taken to KIA police, officials added.
