Interio by Godrej, one of India’s leading furniture and workspace solutions brands under the Godrej Enterprises Group, has bolstered its position in India’s infrastructure development landscape through two major project wins and completions in Kerala valued at over Rs 90 crore.
The portfolio includes a Rs 69 crore electrical and mechanical (E&MVAC) work order from Kochi Metro Rail (KMRL) for Phase 2 of Kochi Metro, as well as the successful delivery of a Rs 24 crore design-and-build project for Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL) at Infopark, Kochi.

The KMRL project marks Interio’s first Electrical and Mechanical (E&MVAC) turnkey assignment, reflecting the brand’s growing capabilities in integrated infrastructure execution. The scope involves electrical, ventilation and air-conditioning, and fire protection systems across 10 elevated stations, Property Development areas, and associated viaducts between JLN Stadium (excluding) and Infopark Station.
The KSITIL project at Infopark includes India’s first neurodiverse-friendly workspace, integrating sensory-responsive design, adaptive lighting and inclusive layouts. The development spans more than 50,000 sq. ft. of interiors and 65,000 sq. ft. of façade work, delivered above an operational metro station and adjacent to a railway corridor — completed with zero safety incidents. The project won commendations from KSITIL GM, Infopark CEO, Kochi Metro Team and Indian Railways for its design, engineering and safety focus.
In addition, KMRL has named Interio by Godrej the lowest bidder for the Architectural Finishing Contract of Kochi Metro Phase 2, covering block work, plumbing, and interior finishing across five elevated stations: Palarivattom Junction, Alinchuvadu, Chembumukku, Vazhakkala and Padamughal. This further strengthens the company’s expanding role in India’s metro infrastructure ecosystem.
