Haas F1 Team is an American Formula One racing team established by NASCAR Cup Series team co-owner Gene Haas in April 2014. The team began competing in the 2016 Formula One season and became the first American-led F1 team since 1986. Despite showing promising performances in some races, Haas F1 Team has not yet won a Formula One Grand Prix.
The team\“s best race finish to date was achieved by Romain Grosjean, who finished fourth at the 2018 Austrian Grand Prix. Kevin Magnussen also secured a fifth-place finish at the 2018 Bahrain Grand Prix. While the team has scored points in various races and even achieved double points finishes, they have not managed to secure a race victory or even a podium finish in their Formula One history.
Haas F1 Team has faced various challenges throughout their participation in the sport, including technical issues, financial constraints, and the competitive nature of Formula One racing. The team has primarily operated as a customer team, using Ferrari power units and purchasing various components from other teams, which has limited their ability to compete at the very front of the grid. |
