MHADA lottery is a housing scheme organized by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority for providing affordable housing to citizens in Maharashtra, India.
To be eligible for MHADA lottery, applicants must be Indian citizens and meet specific income criteria based on the housing category. For economically weaker sections, the annual family income should not exceed Rs. 3 lakhs, while for lower income groups, the limit is Rs. 6 lakhs.
Applicants must not own any residential property in their name or their family\“s name in any part of Maharashtra. They should be at least 18 years old and possess valid identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter ID.
There are special provisions for certain categories including defense personnel, ex-servicemen, handicapped persons, and project affected persons. Each applicant can submit only one application per lottery scheme.
