To open the SIM slot on your Indian smartphone, first locate the SIM tray on the device. Most Indian brands like Micromax, Lava, and Karbonn have the SIM tray on the side of the phone. You will need a SIM ejector tool, which usually comes with the phone packaging.
Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the SIM tray. Gently push until the tray pops out. Carefully pull out the tray and place your SIM card in the correct orientation as indicated. Then, slide the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place.
