Amaze
In the rich tapestry of Hindu mythology, the elephant god Ganesha is renowned for his amaze. Known as the remover of obstacles and the god of intellect, Ganesha is often depicted with an elephant head and a human body. This unique combination of an animal and human features is what amazes many.
According to legend, Ganesha was born to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The story goes that Parvati wanted to create a son to protect her, so she carved an image from a damp tamarind seed and brought it to life with a touch of her feet.
When Lord Shiva saw the image, he was so amaze that he mistakenly destroyed it. Parvati was heartbroken and asked Shiva to restore her son. Impressed by Parvati\“s love, Shiva brought Ganesha back to life, but with an elephant head.
From that day forward, Ganesha became a symbol of amaze and wisdom. His image is often found in homes and temples across India, where devotees seek his blessings for success and good fortune. |
