Chennaiyin FC emerged as the champions of the 2015 season, defeating FC Goa 3-2 in a thrilling final match. The league stage consisted of 56 matches followed by the semi-finals and final, with matches being played across various iconic stadiums in India including Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and Salt Lake Stadium.
