Kabaddi is a traditional Indian sport that originated in ancient India. It is a contact team sport played between two teams of seven players each. The objective of the game is for a single player on offense, referred to as a raider, to run into the opposing team\“s half of the court, tag out as many of their defenders as possible, and return to their own half, all without being tackled by the defenders. Points are scored for each player tagged by the raider, while the opposing team earns a point for stopping the raider. The game is played on a rectangular court, and each team takes turns sending a raider into the opponent\“s territory. Kabaddi requires both physical strength and quick reflexes, making it a popular sport in India and other parts of South Asia. The sport has gained international recognition and is now played in various countries around the world. |
