India has recently hosted several major sports events that have showcased the country\“s growing capabilities in organizing international tournaments. The most notable among these was the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which featured matches across multiple Indian cities including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.  
 
Another significant event was the Pro Kabaddi League season, which has become one of India\“s most popular domestic sports leagues. The tournament featured teams from across the country competing in various cities, bringing kabaddi - a traditional Indian sport - to mainstream audiences.  
 
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season also concluded successfully, with Chennai Super Kings emerging as champions. This cricket tournament continues to be one of the most-watched sporting events globally and significantly contributes to India\“s sports economy.  
 
Additionally, India hosted the Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, where athletes from across Asia competed in various track and field events. This event demonstrated India\“s improving infrastructure for international athletic competitions.
