Reliance Retail’s digital commerce arm JioMart reported strong momentum in the fast-growing quick commerce segment in the second quarter of FY26. The company said average daily orders for its Quick Hyper-Local delivery service grew over 200 per cent year-on-year during the quarter. JioMart also added 5.8 million new customers in Q2, registering a 120 per cent rise sequentially.
The platform now operates across 5,000 pin codes, serviced by more than 3,000 stores in over 1,000 cities across India. Expanding beyond groceries, JioMart has rolled out 30-minute Quick Hyper-Local delivery services for electronics and accessories across 10 cities, strengthening its hyperlocal fulfilment strategy.
The announcement comes at a time when India’s quick commerce space is witnessing rapid acceleration, driven by changing consumer purchasing habits and growing demand for instant deliveries. Blinkit, owned by Eternal, recently reported a net order value of Rs 11,679 crore in Q2, its highest in the past ten quarters, marking a 137 per cent year-on-year growth. Blinkit’s revenue jumped 171 per cent, while Eternal posted overall growth of 65 per cent. The company said it aims to expand Blinkit’s dark store network to 3,000 by March 2027, up from 1,816 stores as of September 30.
Apart from JioMart, other businesses of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL) also posted solid growth in the September quarter. RRVL reported revenue of Rs 90,018 crore in Q2 FY26, with all major categories delivering double-digit growth. The grocery segment grew 23 per cent year-on-year driven by festive buying trends, while the consumer electronics division grew 18 per cent on the back of new launches and GST rate reductions.
The fashion and lifestyle business registered 22 per cent growth during the quarter supported by festive demand. RRVL continued to expand its offline presence with 412 new store openings in Q2, taking the total count to 19,821 stores. The total operational retail area stood at 77.8 million sq. ft., reflecting a marginal 2 per cent decline year-on-year.
