India and the Netherlands have announced a series of outcomes, including new agreements and a strategic roadmap, following the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the European nation, according to a statement by the Press Information Bureau.
Among the key developments is a memorandum of understanding between Leiden University Libraries and the Archaeological Survey of India, aimed at enhancing cooperation in the preservation and study of cultural heritage materials.
The visit also resulted in the unveiling of a broader roadmap for the India–Netherlands strategic partnership covering the 2026–2030 period, outlining areas of collaboration across trade, technology, water management and sustainable development.
Officials said the engagements reflect a continued effort by both countries to expand bilateral ties through institutional partnerships and sector-specific cooperation initiatives. The agreements are expected to strengthen linkages in research, knowledge exchange and innovation ecosystems.
The discussions between the two sides also focused on enhancing collaboration in key priority sectors, with an emphasis on leveraging complementary strengths in technology and infrastructure.
