The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), in association with Nature Trails by Thomas Cook, has launched a curated Hampi tour starting May 1, 2026, aimed at expanding its experiential outbound travel offerings.
The initiative is designed to offer travellers from Goa and other markets an organised cultural journey to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Karnataka, known for its historic ruins and association with the Vijayanagara Empire. The itinerary includes guided visits to key monuments, expert-led insights into history and architecture, and curated cultural experiences, along with travel and accommodation.
The programme also targets tourists visiting Goa, providing an option to extend their stay with an additional heritage-focused itinerary. It is positioned as an accessible and structured travel product for both domestic tourists and local residents.
Kedar J Naik, Chairman, GTDC, said, “This collaboration with Nature Trails by Thomas Cook reflects our commitment to offering diverse and high-quality travel experiences. The Hampi tour is designed for discerning travellers who seek more than just a holiday—it is for those who want to explore India’s cultural richness in a meaningful way. We have also kept the price of the tour package very cost effective to ensure maximum people enjoy this tour.”
Kuldeep Arolkar, Managing Director, GTDC, added, “Goa Tourism is committed to continuously innovating and expanding the scope of travel experiences available to our audiences. This collaboration with Nature Trails by Thomas Cook allows us to offer a unique cultural journey that complements Goa’s own rich heritage.
