IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Garner Jagdalpur, marking the brand’s entry into Chhattisgarh and expanding its presence in emerging Indian markets.
The 117-key hotel will be developed by Freedom Hospitality and managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM). Scheduled to open in 2029, the property will be located in Jagdalpur in the Bastar region, an area witnessing growth driven by infrastructure development, mining activity, and the expansion of small and medium enterprises.
Garner, IHG’s midscale conversion brand, is positioned to offer quality stays at accessible price points, targeting value-conscious travellers with a flexible and efficient operating model.
