Prime Minister Narendra Modiwill visit Meerut to inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth around Rs 12,930 crore, today February 22. During the visit, he will launch India’s first Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System(RRTS) and dedicate the full Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor to the nation.
At around 12:30 PM, the Prime Minister will flag off the Meerut Metroand the Namo Bharattrain at Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat Station. He will then take a metro ride from there to Meerut South Station.
Around 1 PM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and dedicate to the nation several development projects worth nearly Rs 12,930 crore in Meerut. He will also address the gathering on the occasion, according to an official release.

According to visuals shared by news agency ANI, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanathinspected the arrangements at the Meerut South Namo Bharat Station on Saturday night ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.
The Prime Minister will dedicate the entire 82-km-long Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor to the country. He will also inaugurate the remaining sections of India’s first Namo Bharat RRTS.
