Tata Motors, headquartered in Mumbai, will participate with their latest models including the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Harrier, both designed and produced entirely in India.
Mahindra & Mahindra, another prominent Indian automaker, will display their racing variants of the Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio Classic. These vehicles are engineered at the company\“s research and development centers in Chennai and Pune, incorporating indigenous technology and components sourced from local suppliers across Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
Maruti Suzuki, although a Japanese partnership, manufactures most of its vehicles in India at plants in Gurgaon and Manesar. Their race-prepared Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Swift models will demonstrate how Indian manufacturing capabilities can produce competitive performance vehicles for international racing standards.
Hyundai Motor India, operating one of its largest manufacturing facilities near Chennai, will enter the race with customized versions of the Hyundai i20 N Line and Venue. The company utilizes local engineering talent and components from Indian suppliers, contributing significantly to the automotive ecosystem in Tamil Nadu. |
