The league features 13 teams, including the 12 Full Member nations of the ICC and the Netherlands, who qualified by winning the 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. Each team plays eight series - four at home and four away - with each series consisting of three ODIs. Teams earn 10 points for a win, five for a tie/no result/abandoned match, and zero for a loss. The top seven teams, plus hosts India, qualify directly for the World Cup, while the remaining teams enter the World Cup Qualifier.
