If you have purchased a OnePlus device in India and need to insert your SIM card, here is a simple guide to open the SIM slot. OnePlus smartphones available in the Indian market typically use a hybrid dual SIM tray that supports either two nano-SIM cards or one nano-SIM and one microSD card.
First, locate the SIM ejector tool that came in the box with your OnePlus phone. If you cannot find it, you can use a small paperclip. Look for the small pinhole on the left side of the device. This is the SIM tray ejector hole.
Gently insert the SIM ejector tool or unfolded paperclip into the hole. Apply slight pressure until the SIM tray pops out. Carefully pull out the tray completely. Place your nano-SIM card in the appropriate slot on the tray, making sure the gold contacts are facing downward and the cut corner is aligned properly.
Once the SIM card is securely placed, gently push the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place. Your OnePlus device should now recognize the SIM card and you can proceed with setting up your mobile network connection. |
