Kabaddi is a traditional Indian sport that involves two teams of seven players each. The objective is for a raider to enter the opposing team\“s half, tag as many defenders as possible, and return to their own half without being tackled, all while holding their breath and chanting kabaddi. Defenders aim to stop the raider by tackling them before they cross the midline. Points are scored for each defender tagged, and the team with the most points wins. This game promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and strategy, and it is widely played in rural and urban areas of India. |
