Kabaddi is a popular contact sport originating from ancient India that requires both offensive and defensive skills. The standard dimensions of a kabaddi court are clearly defined by international regulations.
The length of a professional kabaddi court is 13 meters for men\“s competitions and 12 meters for women\“s competitions. The width of the court is 10 meters for men and 8 meters for women. The court is divided into two halves by a midline, with each half measuring 6.5 meters in length for men and 6 meters for women.
In addition to the main court, there are specific boundary lines including the baulk line located 3.75 meters from the midline and the bonus line situated 1 meter from the baulk line toward the end line. These measurements ensure fair play and standardized competition across all kabaddi tournaments in India and internationally. |
